SF and Good Times

So this past weds we played the Red Devil Lounge in San Francisco. I had a lot going on over the past couple weeks for myself and what we were doing as a band. In the days leading up to us going up there I was having some stressful days. I believe in us as a band and what we can accomplish but sometimes you forget the positive aspects of who we are. As we started our drive up there you start to get adjusted to being on the road. For me it usually takes till the end of the first day to get to that mindset. The more we have done it the faster I get adjusted. Playing a show is always the highlight no matter what but there is always a lot of idle time in traveling. I'm usually a lil on edge until we get to the club. Then once there my excitement starts to build. I have to say even with the idea that I was singing on 3 songs for the first time in Costa Nova ever I was not nervous at all going on stage. I felt so free and relaxed up there it was amazing. Its a great feeling.I sang our song "Sweet California" part of "High Noon" and we covered Neil Young's "Needle and the Damage Done". People's responses after our set were so wonderful to hear. So many beautiful comments. Playing was amazing feeling enough and the after show comments really had me smiling even several days later still. So this note is sort of a THANK YOU to all the wonderful people who were at the show and also my bandmates and our friends who were with us. Times like this when you feel so drained and everything gets a lil tougher, its like a wave that breaks and you ride it like you're on top of the world. And everytime after we play our first show we get back in the van and wish we were playing somewhere the next night. The road is so free and fun. Want to do it more. Cross country to the east coast so Gilday and I can play on our old turfs. So today I am grateful for all the good times and look forward to many more. Thanks again to everyone who made this possible. You know who you are. This has fueled me for a while till I get some more. Like the 26th at Venice Rocks!! Ahhhhh LOOK OUT MAN!!!
